My memories - Dolf and Loes
Here is my story:
Dolf and I loved the Guys 'n' Dolls from the beginning and later (about 29 years ago) we met them at the airport (Schiphol) and our eldest daughter Jennifer, asked me to take a picture with them, so I did.
After that she joined the Guys 'n' Dolls fanclub. Than we saw that the Guys 'n' Dolls came in Leiden for doing a show and it wasn't far from where we lived. So we went with the whole family to the Groenoordhallen to see them. Our youngest daughter Lynsey made a drawing for them and when they were singing "A little bit more" Dominic asked Lynsey on stage and she was very proud!
We went more and more to their shows and our 3 children, Jennifer, Alvin and Lynsey loved it all the time to go with us, if it was possible.
Also we went with all of us to their farewell concert in Rotterdam (Le Bateau). When Julie and Dominic started with Grant & Forsyth, our contact with them was so good, that they asked Dolf and me to start a fan club for them, so we did and still we are doing that with lots of pleasure.
And now our grandchildren love to see Julie and Dominic as well.
It's fantastic to see on this website that there are still so many old Guys 'n' Dolls fans and we wish Julie and Shep lots of success with this website. They are doing it very well.
