About

Julie Forsyth was born on the 4th April 1958 in Watford. 

She went to the Italia Conti Stage School in London .

Julie sang backing vocals on the song Cosmic Wheels by Donovan.

Julie and Dominic met in Guys n Dolls and they had their son Luke Purdie in 1980. 

When Guys n Dolls disbanded in 1982 , Julie and Dominic carried on performing together as Grant & Forsyth. 

The United Kingdom's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988" Go" was written and composed by Julie and was performed by Scott Fitzgerald. 

It came second and was just one point behind the winner Celine Dion for Switzerland. 

Julie and Dominic got married in 1989 and had their second child a daughter Sophie in 1991. 

They went on to have major success becoming Europe's biggest selling Married Country Duo.

From Guys n Dolls to Grant & Forsyth

Grant & Forsyth

After Guys n Dolls disbanded Julie & Dominic carried on performing as Grant & Forsyth. They had huge success, they decided to turn to Country music which they loved and became Europe's biggest selling Married Country  Duo. You will find many of thier appearances on TV and Live on tour on You Tube.

The United Kingdom's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, was "Go" performed by Scott Fitzgerald. The song was written and composed by Julie Forsyth who was a member of Pop group Guys n Dolls, Country Duo Grant & Forsyth, and daughter of Sir Bruce Forsyth.
